During the Giants of Buffalo presentation at the History Museum, starring Irv, Rick and Tom, guests enjoyed the FORGING A CONNECTION: Your Buffalo Sabres 1970-1975 Exhibit at the pre-presentation cocktail party on Friday, March 21, 2014.

Opening Night Februray 21, 201

Here are a few snapshots from the opening night. Installation was completed in just an hour or so before the fans flocked in!

This opening of Forging a Connection: Your Buffalo Sabres 1970-1975 accounted for one of the busiest Friday's in the history of the Buffalo History Museum.

This 7 card collector's set was available at Opening Night February 21, 2014.

Forging a Connection- Your Buffalo Sabres 1970- 1975

Our exhibit opens February 21 and will run through May 25, 2014 at The Buffalo History Museum, located at 1 Museum Court at Elmwood Avenue in Buffalo, N.Y.
 Fans will relive the Sabres’ most memorable moments – victorious and tragic - through the team’s formative first years.

“The Buffalo Sabres have become part of the fabric of Western New York, Forging a Connection will bring the early years of the franchise to life for fans. It will give fans of all ages the opportunity to relive wonderful memories and pass on the history of the team to younger fans.” stated, Joe Gambacorta, Founder and President of Buffalo Hockey Experience + Museum (BHE+M).

BHE+M's Playmaker + Enforcers + Goalies Exhibit is Dismantled Following the End of it's Run & the End of The Local Hockey Season

The Playmakers + Enforcers + Goalies exhibit is dismantled following the end the local hockey club's season. April 11, 2012 at First Niagara Center.  The Buffalo Hockey Experience + Museum would like to thank OtherWisz Creative and the Buffalo Sabres for another successful display of memorabilia from the BHE+M's permanent collection.

Watch for more display highlighting the rich history of hockey in Western New York and Ontario in 2012! Here are few snapshots from this morning's ceremonial dismantling as the memorabilia is ready for return back to storage at the museum.
